[iVisit] Masjid Agung Baiturrahim

Built in 1728, Masjid (Eng. Mosque) Baiturrahiim is the oldest religious building in Gorontalo. Because of that, it’s classified as cultural preservation that needs to be protected. However, the building I visit is not the original creation. Cracked due to earthquake in 1938, the masjid was rebuilt in 1946. It also received enlargement in 1964.

Since it’s located in the center of Gorontalo city, it’s easy to reach by bentor ( becak motor, a local public transportation run by motorcycle and can accomodate 2-3 passengers).

[iSnap] Flower bud

I took a new route for my weekend jogging and found that the new path is covered by wild flower bud. Nice

[iSnap] You know it’s great

It’s Sunday morning, here. How’s going?
I’m normally still kissing my pillow at this moment, but here I am being the cutest daughter Mom ever wanted and deliver her to the airport.
The weather is ok with a slight of fog which I hope won’t be a problem from the flight.
Being with Mom for the past 2 weeks are awesome. We do have a lot of things in common. We watch the same movies, we love the same food, and we likes going to home supply supermarket. Lol.
I know sometimes it’s tiring to entertain her after work. I go out before the sun set and get home after twilight. So, you can imagine how tired I am. But, then I need (& want) to take her out for dinner. It’s pretty crazy days for me.
On the other hand, I love her company. Knowing that someone is waiting for you at home is great. So, to erase tired feeling, I choose to smile because I know I can do that.
Just like today, I know it’ll be a great day because I choose to be it.

[iSnap] Good bye Sunshine

I’m glad to stay home in this tricky weather. It was so beautiful this morning when I took these pictures.

There’s this pattern recently:
Bright and beautiful morning, then gloomy clouds cling all day to let it rain before twilight. That’s why it’s better to keep umbrella in the bag.

[iSnap] and so, this is holiday

It’s Friday, but it’s a legitimate holiday here. How’s your day?

[iSnap] Happiness is like donut

Yeah, it’s small and sometimes you can finish it in one chop. But, small happinesses creates most of our everyday

Guarding my little nest

I’m not a flower girl lately, but I guess I could keep up with these. The weather has been tricky and I barely go out for flower hunting. Aha. I’m just lazy. Mom is visiting and I have obligation to keep her company. We went to our new project, my little house. Seeing how it progresses makes me happy. Seems like we can move in before August.

Look what I found outside my little nest
