[iLike] Violet morning blaze

 

 

Oke, this morning may not be like any other morning. First, small rain after dawn, then the bus was on fire on the way to office. It’s a crazy morning. haha.

It’s natural that people think this’ going to be an unlucky day. But, I do believe that we can change it. Just because we started it wrong, it doesn’t mean that it’s gonna destroy the whole day.

Just look at these flowers in front of my window. Just because the heat attacks and pushes down few stem, they stand still, ready to bring violet blaze.

According to wiki, these flowers are called Marigold, but its species name is Tagetes. The ones with full yellow color is Tagetes, and those yellow with red spurts are called Tagetes Patula (aka French Marigold). Though it’s natives to Americas and South Europe, I find them living beautifully here in Indonesia.

My office is preparing for our independence day’s celebration next week. They clean up everything and plant many flowers. It’s so nice to see colorful asterae from my window and this morning I took a route to snap them. Unfortunately, the weather has been fickled lately. I hope these flowers can survive till the big day.
